Identifying clams left in the yellow tank
Silos with manila seed will have small labels on them:
A1: Combination Primed Clams (Heat + PolyIC)
B1: Combination Primed Clams (Heat + PolyIC)
C1: control (untreated) clams
D1: control (untreated) clams
A2: Heat Primed Only
B2: Heat Primed Only
C2: Immune Primed Only
D2: Immune Primed Only

Silo (singluar) with tan mesh bags in it:
These are remaining cockles from the Agate Pass site
Bags have info with treatment, replicate, etc. Example:
- BC-CP-T2A = Basket Cockle - Control Temp with Poly IC priming, Retrieval Time 2, Replicate A
CC = control, EE = heat primed, CP = immune primed, EP = combination primed
(Some cockles may have escaped their bags because we had to cut many of the strings to get the ones out for sampling. Like in the hit 2000 blockbuster Gladiator, these cunning cockles have put up a good fight and have thus earned their freedom. Leave in silo or give to Andy so he can feed them to the starfish in FSH.)
Mesh Bags on bottom of tank:
These are remaining manila clams from the field collections. Cattle tag ID info here
tags 0-48 are agate pass clams
tags 49+ are westcott clams
sample codes follow same naming scheme as the cockles but with leading MC (manila clam) instead of BC (basket cockle)
